Is it on the elsevier website ?

Did u get an email from the nursing advisor ? She Direct us to a person who is dealing with the refunds. I emailed customer service at evolve where are you registered for the HESI and they directed me on what to do.

Hey everyone,

just discovered this discussion, how is everyone?
I have a question. How is GPA calculated for the prerequisites? Is it the weighted GPA? More credited classes weight more?
Are there only 40 spots each session day and night?

Hi,

From what I know, only the GPA from your prerequisite classes is taken into account as far as your acceptance into the nursing program is concerned. There is no such a thing like which credited weight the most ? Prerequisite classes are as follow : English 101, Psych 100, Math 104, Bio 425, Chem 121. So these are the five prerequisite classes. Of course CHEM 121 and BIO 425 are 4 credits classes. But it`s your entire GPA of the five prerequisite classes that is going to count. And if you want to know the GPA of your prerequisite classes , search for College GPA calculator on Google and the page is going to show you a sample where you can enter your grade and the page will automatically calculate your GPA right away. As for the number of spots, that`s only the nursing program that may have the correct number but from what I have read before, the nursing department admits roughly 81 students every semester and this number include both day and evening programs. Thanks

Thanks for the quick response ? makes sense, wasn’t sure how they do it. According to Bmcc website they do the weighted one but wasn’t sure about the nursing program. Mine is almost the same LOL so it doesn’t matter

You're most welcome. And wishing you all the best.

I was hoping for the test. Now that admission is based on GPA only we don't know how many people applied and the average GPA. The pre-requisites are not hard and we don't know if our GPAs are good enough so the waiting is tough...I have a 3.89 GPA and right now I am pretty worried.

Same. The waiting is making me kind of anxious RN and I just want them to get it over with ?

I could be mistaken but last semester they accepted 91 students instead of 81. With the current circumstances who knows how many they will accept for the fall.
