  1. It's alright. You can e-mail me any time.
  2. I wanna start by congratulating you. You have made it and you should be proud of yourself and I want you to know that we are all proud of you. Now going back to your question , I think the Nursing advisor should provide you with all the information that you need before the beginning of fall semester. I`ll suggest that you start working on your physical form as soon as you can. Once you have all the results, you can submit them on Castle Branch and I hope you`ll get the form as soon as possible. The fee for using their service is roughly $ 200. The primary book will cost you somewhere around $547 and the second one I think is $ 200 something( not very sure about the exact price). As for the uniform the website is www.flynnohara.com/school/NY005 . Although I have not yet finished purchasing all the requirement, I know the cost for attending first semester of nursing will be over $ 1000 in terms of supplies. Good luck fellow student, I just hope this information will help you a little bit.
  3. Thank you!!
  4. Yes don't give up. I'm in section 091
  5. Hi, Although I don't really have a specific job recommendation, I want you to know that you're not the only one struggling to gather all items that are required prior to the beginning of the program. If someone like me,who does not have any child can struggle like this , how about a single mum? I can only imagine what you're going through. I just hope that regardless all the challenges, you don't end up not attending the program. If I come across anything, I won't hesitate to let you know but in the mean time, take care and wishing you all the best.
  6. I totally agree with your statement. And thank you for reminding us that most of the time we gonna be on our own but that should encourage us to remain more engaged over the course of our program. It's all gonna be alright!!
  7. I also wanted to review that package over the Weekend so that I can be prepared for the orientation but as usual, there is no consistancy in terms of communication when it comes to the Nursing program. We have to push all the time in order to receive any information. I hope it's not gonna be like this once we start the program. Otherwise, we gonna be screwed up guys. And I doubt if our scheduled orientation is gonna even takes place on the 15th cos we still waiting for the Zoom invitation e-mail.
  8. Hi , I e-mailed her my acceptance letter the very day that she sent out the e-mails. She did respond by saying thank you. I guess she was still on her desk . That's why she responded so quick. But as far the second package is concerned, I haven't received it either.
  9. Yes I saw that too. But I have just e-mailed her a signed copy of my acceptance letter. It feels good to be accepted in the program. I have been waiting for so long to get here.
  10. But honestly you guys in the evening program are some how lucky to have such a professor. For us in the day program, it's a 50/50 chance. There is one professor called -------------------, she has like 1.0 on rate my professor. I've been in touch with one student who took her in Spring. She said that this woman does not teach at all. You have to work extra hard to pass. So right now, I'm preparing already because I don't know which professor I'll end up with. The majority of students on rate my professor kind of likes ------------------------. So only God knows. But let's not get discouraged. Regardless the professor will get , we need to stay positive and work hard.
  11. I haven't received the e-mail either. But I think we need to chill out a little bit. Even if we receive the e-mail today , we not gonna start our program tomorrow. I know people are making efforts to reach out to the advisor, but in reality we still have a little bit of time. I personally always avoid to email the advisor cos I don't want her to frustrate my efforts. I'm glad that people are getting a good feedback from her. Maybe it's because she knows that we're already in the program ?
  12. Thanks a lot for your feedback. I'm definitely willing to stay connected to my classmates via a different platform because I know the benefits of networking in the Nursing program. I'm looking forward to do so in the nearest future.
  13. Hello everyone, I wanna start by congratulating every student who has been accepted. I'm very happy to see that few students have already started to find different means that we can stay in touch in this journey that we're about to start. I saw two posters about students who have already created a facebook page for day as well evening programs, however I just wanna be honest with you guys. I deactivated my facebook page and all my social media accounts 2 years ago. I took that decision because social media became like a distraction for me. I would at the minimum spent 3 hours a day on social media back in the days. So I came up with a resolution to stay away from social media until I graduate. I don't regret the decision that I made because it helped me focusing on the most important thing in my life rather than spending my time checking who posted what and what to comment on. The decision that I made helped me to secure a spot in the nursing program this year and I'm very excited about it. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against facebook but for me I made a resolution to reactivate my facebook page once I graduate. Having say that, I want you all to know that I'm more than willing to stay in touch with you and share any knowledge with you folks but not really via facebook. I saw someone who posted a cellphone # where we can reach her/him. So I'll definitely get in touch for any update. If there is also any information that I would want to share, I won't hesitate to do so through her/him. Once Again my fear is that by joining your facebook page, I may end up looking at some other posters on facebook that might become a distraction for me. All the best my fellow students.
  14. I meant day program. Sorry for that typing error. I'm super excited right now and I can't even think.
  15. Now I can breath. I have just made it. Got accepted for Fall day Nursing day program. When I receive the e-mail yesterday about the Zoom meeting, I was so nervous. Today I was even scared to join the meeting but thank God I made it. Today is gonna be one of the best day for me. Grandulation to those who got accepted and good luck as we're about to face another battle.
