I was hoping for the test. Now that admission is based on GPA only we don't know how many people applied and the average GPA. The pre-requisites are not hard and we don't know if our GPAs are good enough so the waiting is tough...I have a 3.89 GPA and right now I am pretty worried.

That is a good very good GPA, CONGRATS

you were lucky to get good professors, I got two classes that were almost impossible to pass with a good grade. As long as I know there was only one girl getting A-

Also, many people transfer credits and they were not concerned their grade at that point including myself ? therefore, I got a B for one of the easiest classes out of the 5 ?

I could be mistaken but last semester they accepted 91 students instead of 81. With the current circumstances who knows how many they will accept for the fall.

I think it is depends of the available clinical spots. Let’s hope that they have even more this year

Yes, it is probably weighted GPA, I would not know how else they would measure the GPA.

I think so too. According to that mine is 3.82 with my B in psy 100 ? lower than yours

I took classes with the toughest professors everyone is running away from. I took so many classes that besides the nursing clinicals, I can already graduate...I was actually planning for PA school, which is why I took the extra classes- but it is way too expensive and after having two incredibly stressful jobs (I assisted a surgeon for 3 years) I decided I wanted to take it easy and relax a bit...so getting an associates instead of a masters because my sanity is more important RN...

I checked on CUNYfirst, for the two day programs and the night program there are 25 seats available for each clinical!

I thought there were 60 seats total? I suppose that makes sense, 35 and 25...

I am confused about the prerequisites though...the website says ENG 101, PSY 100, MAT 104 and BIO 425, is this correct?

I had several people in my class doing the same. Instead of a master degree they opted for an RN

It's out of 5 pre-reqs now. They added Chem 121.
