BMCC Fall 2020

I’m applying for the Fall 2020. So far I have a 3.78 in the pre-req.

I’m applying for Fall 2020 as well! I’m taking my last pre-req, Math 104, this winter.

I called the Nursing Dept today and they told me they are no longer administering the Kaplan Exam, they are switching to HESI for all FALL 2020 applicants.. did anybody else hear this?

No nothing ! Not even a mention of it last semester - I went to the nursing entrance seminar they held . It was really informative and Ms *** was there but it was straight up 50% PCI and 50% Kaplan. Please let us know if you hear anything .

Last fall , I think it was October

I hope it’s Kaplan. What’s everyone’s prerequisites looking like? As far as how many classes and/or your overall PCI gpa?

gpa is 3.65 Completed all my pre-recs and working on 426 now hoping to sit the Kaplan in Spring . I looked online and nothing has changed -still says Kaplan everywhere. Still doesn’t mean that’s it’s not being changed !! Don’t know anything about Hesi , is it like the Kaplan .

Good morning so far i have a 3.8 in pci currently taking org chemistry. The HESI is kind of hard it takes months of studying to actually pass. Before Bmcc i was going to sit for the Teas which is way harder. I’m going to inquire about it today.

Hello again everyone. I just got off the phone with the Nursing Dept and the new test is in fact the HESI I’m going to buy the book this weekend because it’s a lot of material.

Did they say by any chance if they require all the sections? I know some schools leave out Physics since the test has A LOT of sections.
