Anyone applying for Fall 2011? They now require the HESI A2 (I believe the Spring '11 hopefuls didn't need HESI). Does anyone know what the percentages will be for prereq GPA/ overall GPA/ HESI score in determining the rankings?
I'm pretty worried now because I was hoping to boost up my overall GPA from 3.7 to above 3.8 this semester. But finals just passed, and I calculated my grades; I think my GPA is dropping to a ~3.63 because I might receive a C in my Microbio class. I'm considering emailing my professor and requesting some kind of administrative withdrawal instead of getting the C. If somehow I'm allowed the withdrawal, my GPA will become ~3.84. My prereq GPA is ~3.86 (2As, 2A-s).
BMCC is notorious for rejecting 3.8s, let alone 3.7s and lower. Should I rely on acing the HESI or should I contact my professor and hope I get the withdrawal? Or is there a possibility that a 3.7 this sem could get accepted?
I know, they don't let out any info. Maybe the requirements change a bit from semester to semester? I know some schools require a minimum score of 750 on critical thinking. Maybe BMCC's is a little lower? Can't imagine it's much higher.
I had a 900 on critical thinking!! but overall is was kind of low so I don't know if that will help me at all. average was 77.33 I screw up on the math.
I just took HESI tday.It wasn't that bad but I found AP questions really hard.I haven't studied AP2 and most of the questions were based on AP2.I got average of 77 and I m really worried it might not be enough.
I heard that HESI is 40%,GPA of prerequisites is 30% and GPA overall is 30% too.That's how they accept students to the program this semester.
