birth control and a lump( kinda graphic i guess)

I have a few question for u guys

1st question, i recently developed a painful lump on the area where the pubic hair grows, i think its called the mon vernis(sp) any whoo its painful and swollen, my Dh told me its probably a in grown hair, i have never had those before so i don't know, would i be able to tell, would it swell like that and be painful. Could it be something else :rotfl: , Is it necessary to go to doc if it is a ingrown hair and if not what i can do at home to relieve the pain from it? I have been suffering with this for 1 week. I am in so much pain, even hurt while walking, sleeping and wearing clothes etc :o

2nd question, i am looking for type of birth control i can use that does not have to may hormones and will not make me gain weight any recommendations. I am 27 and i have never take any type of BC and scared of putting stuff in my body.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance:)

The thing with condoms is that no matter what kind i use i always get irritated or get a yeast infection, sorry so much info :uhoh3: could it be the latex i dunno :uhoh21:

Bummer. Maybe a latex sensitivity.

BTW - forgot to comment on the other issue. My money is on the bartholin cyst as well. I'm told they are terribly painful. Call your gyn Monday, please! :)

everything went ok!! the doc said its abscess, , which was cause by some sort of infection but what she don't know, she said it may come back, but that it was draining:eek: it popped on it own before appointment, as soon as it did i felt so much better . I hope this does not come back it is to painful :crying2:

Thanks everyone, as far as birth control, i am wondering if a diaphram(sp) would do me like a condom, if not i may get fitted for one
