U.S.A. New York

Hey everyone!

Just seeing if anyone out there has applied to this years BAT program approaching for the summer of 2015. I recently submitted my application and marked completed on December 1st. I don't wan't to keep calling the institution and wanted to get a thread started to see where other people are in the process of the application. I haven't heard anything from the program yet, but am waiting anxiously. I hear that letters go out the month of January and February.

Looking forward to hearing from potential BAT's!

Hi Everyone!! I was recently accepted to Bing last week, and I am so excited to get started :) Like some others here, I am also from Long Island and I'm finishing up at Stony Brook now.

The program begins May 26, right? (My birthday!!) haha, I just wanted to clarify.

Also, where does everyone intend on living? I'm looking at apartment complexes and rentals this weekend :D

Congratulations Slozan1 and Allivernoche! Good luck to everyone else. Hope all of you will hear good news soon- fingers crossed. I'm familiar with the area. Let me know if you have any questions.

I just received my acceptance letter. I will look forward to seeing you all there!

Congratulations stone.amysue! Enjoy the next few months. See you in May :)

got my letter last week! can't wait to meet you all!

Congratulations to everyone who was accepted!

I am trying to make a Facebook group for the 2015-16 BAT class, so we can all get to know each other a bit before May :)

However, I don't know anyone who is in the program, and to start a group, I need at least one other person haha. If you are a 2015-2016 BAT student who would like to be in the group, find me on facebook! My name is Alex Livernoche (https://www.facebook.com/alex.livernoche.5) and I will set up the group :)

Can't wait to meet you all :)

Congrats everyone ! I was also accepted. Is anyone thinking about living on campus? Or off campus? I haven't decided what I want to do yet.

Hey future BATS! My name is Serena and I am currently a BAT at Binghamton. I will be graduating in May and I will be selling my textbooks to the incoming class. I have all the textbooks Binghamton requires for the courses plus some that the teachers recommend getting. I would like to sell them all as a bundle. I purchased them from a BAT from the year prior, so the editions are mostly 2013. The books were pretty much essential to the program, so email me at [email protected] if you'd like to know more about the sale! Or if you have any questions about the program maybe I can help out. Congratulations to everyone who has received acceptance! And good luck to everyone still waiting to hear.

Hey, everyone!

My name is Laura and like Serena, I'll be graduating from the BAT program in May. (Whoo-hoo! Time really truly flies).

I'd be super happy to sell my textbooks as well and to sweeten the pot, will throw in a "clicker" as well! (It's a crappy electronic device you need for one class. And never again). Feel free to shoot me an email at [email protected] and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the sale! Like Serena, if anyone has any questions about the program, please feel free to fire them my way and I'd be happy to answer!

Congratulations to all! The BAT program is certainly intense, but far more doable than I had anticipated.

Hi Future BATs!!

I'll also be selling my text books, iclicker and small grey anatomy scrub tops. Congrats on your acceptance. Get ready for one crazy year. Enjoy your time now. There will also be a Facebook group started by Decker Staff called the BAT Cave. I'm sure you will get an invitation soon. We will also be invited to join as a resource for you guys and to sell books. If you are interested in books or have any questions about BAT life please feel free to email me [email protected].

Best of Luck,

Caitlin

Ooh! Scrubs! Yeah, I've got number of small, women's scrub tops and 3 pairs of pants. I'll throw them in too (once I get through clinical in May!). Don't spend lots of money on scrubs, you can totally score free pairs from people in the program. No one wants to wear Hunter Green by the end of the year!

Congrats everyone ! I was also accepted. Is anyone thinking about living on campus? Or off campus? I haven't decided what I want to do yet.

Jaimemart, I'd encourage you to live off campus. It's far cheaper!
