Binghamton BAT program 2015-2016

Hey everyone!

Just seeing if anyone out there has applied to this years BAT program approaching for the summer of 2015. I recently submitted my application and marked completed on December 1st. I don't wan't to keep calling the institution and wanted to get a thread started to see where other people are in the process of the application. I haven't heard anything from the program yet, but am waiting anxiously. I hear that letters go out the month of January and February.

Looking forward to hearing from potential BAT's!

If my status says decision made but I can't pay a deposit does that mean I was rejected?

@lnickles22 I think we have been rejected my friend. =(

However, I do only think, I can't say for sure, but if you really want to find out - call admissions. If they won't tell you over the phone, little trick around that is to ask if the class has been filled for the summer term. If you call let me know what they say, I would myself but have been crazy busy these last few days, also I've been accepted else where so it's not a crushing need to know basis.

What's your budget? There's apartment complexes that range from 785-1200

month or you gotta look into maybe findings roommate and renting a house/apt downtown for like 300-400 a month (some places include utilities and some don't ) for undergrad I lived in UP and twin River and paid around 785-875 a month. That included Internet, cable and all utilities. (Since its a complex). I don't wanna live in an apt complex anymore so my friends and I are moving to a house in endicott for $500 a month including utulities. Hope this helps! i went to bing for undergrad too! but im looking for possibly other BAT students to room with, so that rent is cheaper

but if not, which site did you use to find your housing??

I used trulia and zillow to find houses/apts for rent--I trusted it more than craigslist (Prob safer too). I would ask around and see who else is lookig for roommates. Otherwise the apartments downtown (up and twin River and the lofts) I think have roommate matching.

I've only received the email about the event the school is having for those within the program and those who have been accepted. I have yet to receive an official calendar or anything like that. Btw is anyone else dorming lol I feel like I'll be the only one.
