K, I’ll concede that revenue from individuals did go up But why did it? You imply it was the cuts. However “Together, faster economic growth and increased numbers of Americans earning higher incomes led to increased individual tax collections in 2018, even though most Americans are seeing their effective individual income taxes decline when compared to what they would have paid on the same incomes in the 2017 tax year.”

Although there’s this -“but with American businesses and consumers paying a portion of the increase through higher prices.
Tax collections from U.S. corporation income taxes fell by $88 billion as a direct result of the tax reform, but overall, the U.S. government collected some $5 billion more in taxes in 2018 than it did in 2017 because of the way its other major sources of revenue from its taxes increased to offset this reduction.”
So, when all was said & done, rev went up $5b. We’ll see how 2019 compares. And the numbers truly point out individuals paid more while corps paid less.
