BHCC Spring 2012 acceptance letters

Does anyone know when the Spring 2012 evening acceptance letters go out? Everyone had to take the TEAS in October, so I am assuming that the letters go out in November, but does anyone know how soon?

Heard the letters should arrive today. Not sure how true/false that is, but just wanted y'all to have a heads up!

People don't stress out about getting in! I was just like you and I got into BHCC and RCC. If you have good grades and a decent Teas score than you are in! trust me. Some folks in my class now had teas scores in the 70% and they still got in. Its all a hype that thousands apply. Be confident if you worked hard to get to this point than you will get into Nursing school! Good luck to you all!

What was your GPA? TEAS Scores? Did you get in the firs time you applied?

I've heard through the grapevine that they did away with weekend/hybrid. For Spring anyway. Who knows at this point! My mail came, no letter. Has anyone else called to find out when we should expect? Another guy in one of my courses this semester applied as well. He seems like he has high hopes, as he has friends who got in fairly easy. I am hoping!

What grade did you get on A&P

I only got a B+, which was stressing me out because so many people told me that they look at A&P so heavily.

At least the way that I have been hearing people talk, I was starting to think I was the only person whithout a 4.0! I guess you can't believe all that you hear.

If you're doing evening be prepared to work your butt off and I would suggest getting the Fundamentals of Nursing book now and start your readings. The Evening Prof is tough but good. she knows her stuff but you have to be willing to put the time in to study or else you will struggle. Congrats and good luck!

congrats to everyone who got in, and my condolences to those who did not. i was looking @ this thread for info since i'm applying for fall 12'. hopefully when i apply everyone won't be at each others throats about admissions...that kinda stuff is getting kind of bad in pre-req's already. people wouldn't help me make up labs in chem or anatomy b/c they are so catty and competitive...yet you end up with the same people sitting next to each other in the program having to work together.

For those that are doing pre-req's & applying BE NICE to the others in your courses and who are applying! its only gonna hurt you in the long-run if you act selfishly...and selfish people don't make good nurses!
