For those who have applied for the Fall 2007 semester - has anybody gotten a date for an interview yet?

Anyone in the Evening program? I know this is the first year they're doing this. I received the "registration materials" through email today and to be honest, there did not appear to be any classes related to Evening program listed anywhere. Am I the only one dumbfounded??? TIA.

the nursing courses 101 (lec, lab, clinical) is automatically done for you by them (the school), i guess its just one selection, as opposed to more than one time option like the traditional section and the only thing you would do is pick your exam time. This is just guess work on my part, you could always email them for clarification. Hope this helps.

I am in the evening program as well. There seems to be only one section for evening which they place us in. We were only required to let them know when we would want to take the tests for the online class.

Did you get a book list of what we need?

Hey all,

Has anyone received anything from the financial aid office? I called a while back and they said we should get it by the end of last week.

I've never dealt with loans or aid in the states so I am just a little anxious to make sure it will all work out.

It's funny, to go from worrying about getting an interview, to worrying about registration and now financial aid. Who knew I was a worry-wart?

I havent gotten my aid yet either!! I sorta need to know where my tuition is going to come from and where my money for other stuff like books too!

I was going to call over today to find out.

I think bc they hhave admitted so many students this year the whole process is taking longer now. So hopefully we will have it like today!

I'm in the ATOP program.

I figured if I don't have the financial aid info by wednesday when we go in to try on uniforms I can ask then.

Does anyone know if we need white shoes? Also, can they be the sneaker type or do they have to be solid top? I tried looking for the uniform store on 31st but it wasn't there anymore. I would like to try on some shoes (Nurse Mates or Dansko I think) and get them broken in before we start clinicals.

my mentor said all white shoes, it can be what ever i think but its gotta be a full shoe. I wanna get a nursemate sneaker type but i've been having a heck of a time trying to find a nursing supply store. If not maybe i'll get a pair of new balance or something.

Oh and P.S. I found a store on 14th street and Union Square that sells Dankos if you want to go in and try them. They don't sell nursemates unfortunately. Its that huge shoe store on union

I have fully white reebok sneakers. I bougth them a few years ago. They are similar to new balance. They are really comfortable and they were on sale at the time for under $30 bucks.

Do we were the uniforms everyday or just the day we are doing clinicals?

Hi only during clinical rotation for the uniform. The lab coat I'm not so sure. I went to DSW today and found new balance all white for 34.99 today and no tax this week.

Hey, so I stopped by the financial aid office on wednesday and they had just completed the packages that day. I picked mine up but hopefully if they are mailed you will get them soon!

I am a little nervous as when I called back in may/june they said to wait until the aid packages are done to apply for loans (which I did) but now I hope I can get them in time. Ah well, it will all work out I guess.

I am excited about the uniforms! They look so much better than the old ones, and the women's top has pockets now.
