U.S.A. New York

Published

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

Specializes in ICU.
OMG,OMG :yeah::yeah: I can't believe I am typing this, the "angel" just called me and ask that I come for an interview tommorrow!!!!!!!

I prayed about about this, and knew God would answer my prayers.............but I am at awe at his goodness.

Ladies, don't give up, keep praying and believing.

Awesome news TripleA's!!!!! Good luck tomorrow!! I know you'll do great!! :)

Wooooooooooooooooooooo hoooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Hi future nurses!

I've been following this thread for a while. I applied to PBISON last year, and was WAIT-LISTED at the end of June. Since I am really sure that this is the school I want to go to, I reapplied this year.

Sooooo......I just got a call today for the interview!

From reading this thread, I'm even more sure I want to go to BI, because all of you seem so lovely!

Here's the sticking point-- the only complication in my otherwise really joyful celebration-- I'm really, really pregnant.

Not dainty pregnant-- like big rollicking pregnant. This will not be my first child, so I'm well-prepared for the challenges of a newborn and school.

I'm not quite sure how to address this during my interview.

Any interview suggestions?

Hi Meytal, I remember reading your post last year......glad to hear your good news.

You basically answered your own question. Since this is not your first child, and you no the challenges of being a new parent and attending school, your strongest point would be experience and support. Explain that you have lots of support at home and are willing and ready to pursue your dream.

Good luck.......Let us know how it goes tomorrow.

Thanks Triple A! My interview was not scheduled for tomorrow (I think you got called first!), but I'll report back as soon as I can.

Good luck to you! Let us know how it goes.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and interview Meytal. I agree with Triple A's, mention your support system. I'm sure you'll do fine.......

Triple A's, congratulations again and again and again !!!!!!!!!

Thanks honeycutts :p. I will continue to pray for you to get your good news soon!!!!

Thanks Triple A's :)
