Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

I'm trying to be patient and wait to hear from them until May 11th. I haven't given up hope. they didn't contact Nurserican until a month after she received her scores. Maybe I will call...how about you?

Remember me :) So I was thinking about your situation and it doesn't make sense that they didn't call you. If they wouldn't want to give you an interview (G-d forbid), they would have just sent the rejection letter already. Did you call *** *****and ask her why you didn't hear anything yet? Maybe your papers got lost or something. I think you should def call asap!!!

Hi Shana, I called ** ***** last week and was told they never received on of my transcripts so I am just waiting to hear back from them, my fingers are crossed and I know God will make a way for me to get accepted.

I just posted on another thread about my experience with LICH......they are claiming they haven't received my whole application, which makes me upset since I've been calling almost everyday about the exact thing.

Anyway.....I am happy you received acceptance, have you starting financial aid and loan applications yet?

Omg!!!! I am so relieved that that's the reason they didn't call you yet. With your NLN mark, I really wouldn't be nervous AT ALL!!!! I really think you'll get in :)

I can't believe that happened with LICH!!!!! Thats horrible!!!! That is so irresponsible of them I can't get over it. So what's going to happen with that??

I sent in my deposit, but I didn't start filling out all those forms yet ( I hate filling out forms lol)

I've been following this thread for sometime now, and I am glad that some of you already had an interview and/or been accepted. Triple A, I hope you'll get the schedule of interview soon as you've been waiting for sometime now. I know the waiting period could be so stressful. We are in the same situation. I phoned BI over 2wks ago about my application and been told that my application is being reviewed by the admission committee. I haven't heard from them since then. I emailed yesterday to get an update, perhaps I will call tom to find out. I just hope I will get my answer soon... whether I have the interview or the rejection.... What is the May 11 date some of you posted? Is that the date BI will start or stop interviewing? Does anyone have an idea if the seats are all taken?

May 11 is the day the school board is gonna sit and decide who's accepted or not. I think there's still seats left since May 1 is like the real deadline to receive all the remaining parts of your application.

And btw, I got a call from ** ***** earlier today... she told me I have a second interview on Friday..... I dont know what it means. I think its a bad thing but I'll see for myself..

Thanks eilama27, I wish you the best also. The wait is harder than the whole process. You should call ** ***** tomorrow, she will help you as much as she can, thank God she is such a sweetheart, Lord knows I annoy the hell out of her ;).

Well, according to the person I spoke with, they will call me tomorrow to inform me on any progress in finding my complete file. Can you believe the level of irresponsibility?

Nurserica don't fret, although I've never heard of anyone having a second interview, I am sure everything will be fine. I am keeping you in my prayers.

NurseRica, That's very odd about the second interview, but I'm sure everything will go fine!!!

Eliama27, May 11 is just when the board meeting is to discuss the people who already had their interview and whether they will be accepted or not. Also, all the seats are not taken, BI has interviews all the way until at least the end of June.

TripleA's, I really can't believe LICH did this to you. Also the fact that you have been calling about that makes the situation even worse. Hopefully they'll find it all and everything will work. Does LICH have interviews also?
