What about joining a local nursing organization? Here's a link to the Ohio Nurses Association and its chapters.
Network.
Texas nurse here on 'vacation' in Calif at the annual Amer Assoc of Critical Care Nurses' conference.
Find an organization and go to their meetings.
I don't know if I'm networking or just going to Disneyland, but either way, it's a tax write-off and there are a gazillion critical care nurses currently within a square mile of me. . .
(and actually, I'm learning lots, too. And meeting my peers.)

I'm not sure I dare say it.. oh forgive me all, but Myspace.com does have info on others that say they are in your schools. I have found others that have profiles in my area. You can seach by majors and find other nursing students.
I think the student nursing association is a much better way, but there is another option to try.
Where are you in Ohio? Im here in Columbus. We can correspond with each other. Are you in RN OR LPN SCHOOL? It doesnt matter to me b/c we can learn from each other. I was a student a few months ago and I will be one again VERY VERY SOON! I know how you feel. Try not to be offended if no one wants to study in a group, they may be the kind of people who learn best by themselves (lord knows I am!) plus it cuts down on the classroom gossip which always gets drama started.

or other students? I am trying to find other nurses and students in my area. I am in Ohio. I have already tried posting on yahoo groups and on the ohio section of this forum. So far I haven't had any luck.
