Check out Amazon.com - that's where I got most of my books. Another site that some folks use is http://www.half.com .
Another nod to Amazon, eBay, and adding Craigslist (if you have an active local list). I bought my Summer texts that were going to cost between $200 and $300 used for under $75 off of Craigslist. I've also borrowed books from classmates who are ahead of me and then kept my eyes open for deals after the official semester begins.
My favorite sites are half.com, froogle, and amazon however if u simply type in the name of the book you are looking for into goodle, you may also find a lot of really cheap listings. I once typed in a book I needed into google and found a bookstore in brooklyn, ny that had it for $70 less than many other sites. So definitlly do your homework and don't be afraid to buy books from multiple sites it really will help you save a LOT of money.
I like half.com but I also like www.textbooksrus.com
I hope you like them too
I just found a great site www.allbookstores.com. They are a comparison site too. Though I haven't bought anything using it yet, it seems like a great tool.
I personally like Amazon's used store and Bigwords.com (they're a search engine/ seller). One time I got a $140 Psychology book off of Amazon's used store for $31 (which included expedited shipping)!!! I'd also like to note that the book came in almost near perfect condition- no folding of pages, no tears, no highlighting, NOTHING! Sometimes you can get some really good deals if you look around on the sites I listed;)

Hi, I will be starting my nursing classes in mid-August, and am trying to round up the huge amount of books I need. Does anyone know of a good place to find newer edition used textbooks? I know ebay can be good...I have gotten several from there, but are there any other good resources?
Thanks!:redbeathe
