Best school for community college transfer

Hello guys, I am a community college student in Irvine, CA. As many people, I am looking for a good school for transfer in the state. I was initially looking at UC schools but recently I started looking at CSU schools too. So my question is, which schools would you guys recommend? I know they have different prereqs so I feel I need to start preparing. And also, is a transfer to CSU relatively easier than UC? (CSU schools clearly cost more; is it more likely to be accepted than the UC schools?)

I think you have it backwards: UCs are more expensive than CSUs. Most of the CSU nursing programs have very good reputations and good NCLEX pass rates (see the BRN website). Surprisingly, the UCs fall a little short. None are easy to get into, however. You will need close to a 4.0 in community college. Beyond that, each school has slightly different requirements. You have plenty of So Cal CSUs to choose from, as well as UCI, so good luck!
