What's the best planner you've found for school? Preferably a planner I can buy in store.
I start clinicals this quarter and I know I'm going to have to be very strict with my time management!

Pretty sure you can't pick one up in the store, but I splurged on an Erin Condren life planner. I got it customized with my name on it.

For my first year of nursing school, I used the full-sized Uncalendar. I loved it. So much space to write in everything I needed. I finished it with the end of my third semester.
I'm now going into my second year, and picked one up at Office Depot. The brand name is StudioC. It's super cute and breaks down daily, weekly, and monthly.

I bought a basic planner at the beginning of this year by Mead. It is broken down to monthly than weekly with each day broken down into 15 minute increments. So far it has worked well for me.

@ Marilenna That's so funny! I also got an Erin Condren life planner! I got the one that says "Nothing can dim the light that shines from within" and I love it! It's good from now until the end of 2016!!

I think the hour by hour ones are a bit excessive, especially as a nurse. Clinicals run over, commutes are variable, and you never really know how long studying is going to take. When I was in school, I used a full-sized one that just had the dates. I like the full-sized ones, because they actually let you put in what you need to do. And I always made sure to put things in earlier than they were do, and I always left myself one day a week "spare" where I could finish up whatever I didn't get to finish before.
In the end, I don't think the planner matters. What matters is that you use it and find a way to stick to it. That being said, I do personally like the bluesky weekly planners that are 8.5x11. As you can see, I used them from my freshman year of college all the way to my senior year. XD

here is a follow up question...if you were to design your own planner page as a nursing student what would you put on it that is different than a normal planner? anything? I found the Arc system of disk binder at office max and was thinking of just printing my own pages and creating my own planner.

I also have an Uncalendar, and love it. I splurged on an Erin Condren for my first semester of core nursing classes, but the set-up just didn't work for me, so I went back to the Uncalendar after that.

I just recently got the Create365 planner and I love it! They sell it in Hobby Lobby's so if you take the 40% off coupon it comes to around 13$!

I hated passion planner. I really like the uncalendar I just wish it came pre printed with dates - it's so time consuming to fill it in
