Are you meaning "collage", or "College" ?

P.s I don't know where the best of either would be :)

All nursing schools are equally bad. Take your pick.;)

Specializes in Cardiac/Telemetry.

Most of them are equally difficult, but many of them have a high passing rate. IMO, it's HCC. But, that's just me!!!:wink2: :p :D :lol2:

The school that is best for one person ... may be terrible for another. For example, some people prefer large schools: others prefer small schools. Some people thrive in a competitive environment: others do not.

You need to assess yourself and figure out what qualities you are looking for in a school. Only after you have figured out what you are looking for, can you then start looking at the many schools available and make a decision about which one would be the best for you.

Good luck,

Specializes in Critical Care, Pediatrics, Geriatrics.

mine of course haha:lol2:

Pretty much if they are accredited they are decent. Find out which area you want to come to (you are currently in palestine right?) Then do a search online for schools in that area and look at NCLEX pass rates, classroom size, clinical hours...you will probably have to email the directors of the programs you are interested in to get all the information you want.

Specializes in PeriOp, ICU, PICU, NICU.

It would be kinda difficult to say, since I have only been to one. :lol2:

I say mine is :smokin:

Specializes in Infection Preventionist/ Occ Health.

US News and World Report ranks the top graduate nursing programs, and I would imagine that these schools have strong undergraduate programs as well.

That being said, each person should find the program that best fits his or her needs.

THE ONE YOU GET OFF THE WAITLIST FOR OR BEAT OUT 1500 APPLICANTS TO GET ACCEPTED TO!

I'm such a stinker....

:p

Seriously in Texas consider any of the nursing schools in the Dallas area. El Centro, Northlake and Brookhaven are tough but great and not to expensive. Dallas also offers TWU and Baylor, two great BSN options. Houston is hot but it has a great nursing program at its community colleges and at Texas Women's University. Austin is another option.

In Florida I hear that Florida Hospital College near Orlando is good. Expensive, but a good school with strong clincial sites. Barry University in Miami is another good school with a fabulous aid matching program available to almost everyone with a high enough GPA. Miami/Dade Community College is another good school in Florida, with stiff admissions comeptition.

California is a toughy since the waitlist there can be huge. I don't know much about the state.

If you have the options of moving around, you might want to find schools where you stand the best chance of getting into the nursing program right away. Apply broadly and THEN move to that location. That wasy you stand a better chance of getting in on the first shot and graduating in a timely fashion.

JMHO.

We had a student from Palestine in our school in one of the sunny states you mentioned... Can't say what the *best* school is. Are you wanting to do LVN/LPN or RN? BSN or ADN? Community, Public or Private University? There are so many options, and not knowing more we cannot say which is "best" as there are so many different criteria for different people that make one school better than another: NCLEX pass rates, cost of attendance, clinical experience, reputation with local hospitals/employers, admission criteria, instructor-student ratios, and more...
