Hey everyone. I'm starting nursing school next month and am looking for a cheap watch that's good for when I'm in the hospital. I've seen people mention military time is useful, plastic bands and water resistant so it can't be thrown in the washing machine if it gets dirty. Anyone out there who is in school or working have any suggestions? Thanks
All this talk of watches reminds me of an acquaintance who had to change the bed pan of an elderly patient. Lifted up and there was some sort of wet fecal leakage and it went right onto his expensive watch. And the guy is a clean freak so you can imagine how many times he washed that damn watch.
Saw the OP and saw my post from 7 years ago, oh how time flies.
I'd say get a cheap $10 watch for RN school. Doubt you'll actually need it in the actual field. Stopped using mine within 6 months, never had a problem with "oh jeez, wish I had my watch." There are plenty of clocks in the hospital, one in each patient room right in front of the patient if you really need to count your seconds. If anything, a smart watch might be more beneficial, most of my coworkers have one.

Armani Exchange. I still have my white watch from 2016.
