I was just accepted into Bergenn CC's Nursing Day program for Fall 07. I was just wondering about a few things, so anybody that has been or is currently in their program your help would be greatly appreciated.
So I know there is an orientation late August, but I would like to find out some things sooner. Besides the Criminal Background check, is there definitely a drug screening? Is that needed to register for classes as well or is that done later on?
Also, what types of materials did you need to purchase? Does the program allow PDA's and if so did you use them often?
Any adivce would be great! Thanks! :wink2:
Ok, well it looks like I'll start printing the outlines and handbook.
Yea, I jus orderer a PDA, should be getting it tomorrow...can't wait. Still have to order the programs and some accessories. Gotta get a stethoscope, some shoes, and order that supplies kit. And my first CPR class is actually later in the day after Orientation.
I got the tungsten e2. i don't really need the wifi. i got it from the palm store online it was free shipping and free half gig of memory. i can't complain. i got it and i love it. so i guess i'll see you guys tomorrow. oh hey do you guys know of a cheaper place than skyscape?? i want to get the davis drug guide but don't really want to spend 50 bucks if i don't have to.... help please
Maybe eBay or something?? Not sure...Got my Palm TX there for $200, looking to get a 4GB card now...I'm actually gonna order my programs now from Skyscape - I'm sure they're all around the same price no matter where u get it but always heard good things about Skyscape.
See you all tomorrow! :)

Yea i printed the handbook and outlines out too. I actually did it in the library at the school so technically they didn't save much money with me. :rollAnyways I still have to get my uniform and my books. I just ordered my palm and plan on getting it early next week. Im siked about that. Time is kinda dragging but im pretty certain once we start school it'll fly. We are going to be sooooo busy.
