Maybe eBay or something?? Not sure...Got my Palm TX there for $200, looking to get a 4GB card now...I'm actually gonna order my programs now from Skyscape - I'm sure they're all around the same price no matter where u get it but always heard good things about Skyscape. See you all tomorrow! :)

I decided to get the Palm TX...ordered it off eBay brand new for a pretty good price, hope it comes tomorrow and hope there's nothing wrong with it. Looking to order some accessories and a memory card soon...and the programs from Skyscape sometime this week.

Ok, well it looks like I'll start printing the outlines and handbook. Yea, I jus orderer a PDA, should be getting it tomorrow...can't wait. Still have to order the programs and some accessories. Gotta get a stethoscope, some shoes, and order that supplies kit. And my first CPR class is actually later in the day after Orientation.

Well there's only a little bit more than 3 weeks until classes start. I got a good amount done this past week. I was just wondering if any of you printed out the handbook or will we be receiving a copy at Orientation?

I just went to the uniform store today...no alteration was needed, I bought the coat and the watch they carried...They said they're expecting the shipment for Bergen within the next couple weeks. Held off on the stethoscope and supplies though, probly order them online. But yea, still have to do everything else and order the rest of my books although I would like to get a PDA, so might order some programs instead of the books. Can't believe how fast the summer is going by now

Not very far haha...I still have to make a trip to the uniform store, get my results for my immunizations and everything and hand that to health services, get the insurance, order the supply kit along with a stethoscope, and still need to order the rest of my books...oh and I'm taking the CPR class at the school the day of the 21st and 22nd...Yea, I'm already slacking lol...Nah, but really jus been busy with alot of things trying to make the best out of the Summer...but gonna get a move on already, would like to get everything out of the way already! haha.

Has anybody been able to download the Nursing Handbook yet? It looks like they're working on the course outlines and everything...I'm just making sure I'm not typing the wrong password or something. Also, how far along are you in getting everything done?

Good to hear that they allow PDAs...but only some of the hospitals? Could you tell us which hospitals BCC's program is affiliated with? Is everybody assigned or can you choose?

I will definitely try to make it there sometime this upcoming week.

Yea, I read the benefits, the NJ site has a few more listed...Yea, the only thing with the malpractice insurance is that you won't get a discount until you graduate in which you get 50% off the first year. I do like the fact that you get discounts off magazines that I would like to subscribe to and some supply places like AllHeart and some books and study tools that people said have been pretty useful. But overall, it does look good to employers and on your resume.

Oh, ok...by the looks of the description in the course catalog it seems like the school is just the New Jersey state chapter of the NSNA. I know when you join the National, you're automatically enrolled in your state's as well...So I wasn't sure if I should just sign up now.

I was just wondering are any of you planning on joining the National Student Nurse's Assoc.? (NSNA) I'm very interesting in joining it and heard it is very beneficial and well worth it, they also seem to have discounts that would be nice to use for buying some of the supplies we need...but I know some schools already include a membership to it and everything...so I guess I'll wait a bit.

Ok, so I'm assuming all the major supplies we need are the kit, BP cuff, and stethoscope?
