Last Thursday I was at the college for the purpose of collecting my Chemistry grade with some classmates. Apparently, there was a graduation ceremony for RN's going on that night as well, and my friends started talking to one student to ask her about the program. I didn't hear the entire conversation, but one of my cohorts told me the student had stated that ELEVEN people had failed out of NUR-181 alone during her course!
Now, there's always a chance there was some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication, but does this sound right? For what it's worth, I would think the application process and competitiveness of getting in to the program would assure a strong student population, so it makes me nervous to hear these things. I already received some insight from someone privately, but I was wondering what the public population made of this info.
Thanks!
because of a personal issue, i deferred my acceptance. i'll be going for spring evening program instead. good luck everyone!! bright side this means there is an extra spot open for fall they'll give to the next person in line!! hope it’s one of you guys!
hi, i am in a similiar situation. could you tell me how you went about deferring? i talked to the nursing office and they were not too happy about it. they said i might have to take the hesi again. did you accept your entrance letter and then tell them that you wish to attend the evening?
thanks, mike.
I also had Pavlik. Her two tests are essay style, she even lets you write down up to 20 terms that may be difficult to remember in a "cheat sheet". She approves it, and lets you bring i t the test. If you do well in the two tests, you don't have to do the final.Good luck!
L. Pavlil. I had her and she's very easy. She doesnt count absences..she gives you the test before u take it. U only have to take two tests and If your satisfied with the grade u have after the two tests. Ur done with the class.
Thanks guys, no absences sounds my kind of professor. I already know i'm going to miss a few classes with work and meeting 4 times a week over the summer.

Congrats on making it thru Gabby !
I say the rate to those we lost is closer to 20 - 25%. I never heard 50%. and that is 20% of the class you enter in with, not 20% per level lost. we started with 80, graduated 68.
