  1. Hi Krissy! I don't know about Bergen Co Health dept, but Hudson Co offers them for $7 or so here is the site for more info I believe there is a # at the bottom. New Free Immunization Adult Program Also, if you call health services at Bergen they should be able to refer you to a place as well.
  2. You have to "apply" or do the change of curriculum by Feb 1st. Then after the deadline, you'll get further information on your next steps to do background check, once you clear the background check you'll get further info regarding entrance exam. Hope I'ive helped!
  3. I signed up for the same class on Jan 7th.
  4. infomation came in the mail today!! Orientation January 18th!! Can't wait to meet everyone!
  5. Hi Nazmeen!! Welcome to program! Please double check with an advisor that you can change your section, I swore I read somewhere that when you choose a section all should be the same..like you should choose all 601's or all 602's. Your class times will clash, like 181-601 runs into 183-602 class time..just offering some advice so you dont miss out on the section you truly want..
  6. Thank you for the kind words!!
  7. i think it comes down to a personal choice, as long as you have one i don’t think professor would care if it was $25 or $250. from reading reviews you get what you pay for on a cheaper steth, there has been insistences where a student can have errors on their care plans due to missed diagnosis because they did not hear properly or weren’t able to differentiate between lung sounds. however, some do just fine with the cheaper stethoscope. perhaps, when your at the store "test drive" the different models and see what you prefer.
  8. from my history of tracking this forum, everything can be purchased in the uniform place which i believe is still belle uniforms in paterson, in our next packet of information there will be an order form with what is needed along with prices. even though the stethoscope can be purchased at belle for $25. i've read that is it of lesser quality and you may want to shop around for a better quality, perhaps take advantage of all these cyber deals. also, my real name is erica and i am looking forward to meeting everyone is a few weeks!
  9. Has anyone registered yet? I did yesterday, I am in section 601!
  10. Krissy you have until Dec 7th to formally accept just a heads up!
  11. I will let u know cause when I did get my letter I had a week or so to get back to them or you forfeit your acceptance..if I get it today I will post details. I ordered the calculate with confidence...this page http://www.bergen.edu/pages1/pages/661.aspx on Bergens site is very helpful to help you prepare..i've been reading the syallbus for Nur 181,182 & 183.
  12. from my experience last semester, i got my letter in the mail the day after i saw it on web advisor..so everyone stalk their mailman today lol i don't get my mail till 4ish here also, i had to decline my acceptance last semester because my due date was in october and i couldn't fathom doing clinicals 9 months pregnant. my declining opened the door for someone else..do not get discouraged many have to decline or don't make it in officially due to various reasons... how is everyone else prepping? i read on this post and in syllabus that we need to pass pharmacology math test in nur 182 to even do clinicals, have to pass with a grade of 80% or better..i ordered the book to start reading.
  13. Congrats everyone!! I am "admitted" too!!
  14. Nancy, when you log in to Web Advisor go to "Prospective Students" menu and then click on "Admission Status" which is under Admission Information and you should currently see "READY TO TEST- NET" once accepted to program this would say ADMITTED instead and the date would reflect the change. Maybe by this time next week we should hopefully see this! I am ready to see this so I can schedule CPR class, I think they have very limited classes come December.
  15. it is an extremely competitive program to get into, which i find good to a degree. i originally applied to day/fall but had to decline. now i hope i get accepted again, i did all my pre-requisites and now anxiously awaiting the final decision. from my knowledge, a good hesi score & gpa coupled with being a bergen county resident really ensures you a spot. i don’t qualify for financial aid, so i am most likely getting a loan. anyone else funding the semester with a loan? how is the loan process with bergen?
