Last Thursday I was at the college for the purpose of collecting my Chemistry grade with some classmates. Apparently, there was a graduation ceremony for RN's going on that night as well, and my friends started talking to one student to ask her about the program. I didn't hear the entire conversation, but one of my cohorts told me the student had stated that ELEVEN people had failed out of NUR-181 alone during her course!
Now, there's always a chance there was some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication, but does this sound right? For what it's worth, I would think the application process and competitiveness of getting in to the program would assure a strong student population, so it makes me nervous to hear these things. I already received some insight from someone privately, but I was wondering what the public population made of this info.
some sort of good news? the person i sat next to during hesi exam, was going into radiology program, today i ran into on campus. he also said his class average was 79, so that means nursing and other programs are lumped together in the hesi? so maybe the nursing applicants have a worse average?? one can hope right? give us high 80's a chance!!
secondly, does anyone know if you are denied, and reapply lets say for spring, do you have to redo the background check?

I didn't score in the 90's which is driving me crazy. I scored an 88 and really wish it was higher. I did really well on everything but the Biology and Chem. I'm also a current Bergen student (and wish they take that and my GPA in as a factor). Anyway, I was hoping that we'd find out today. Now a whole weekend awaits us with obviously no answer. Hope to see everyone in the fall!!!!!
i dont have a webadvisor account so i'm freaking out that i wont find out til even way later than you guys!...but I check here everyday to see if you guys got in for my measure lol
If you applied to the school, you should have an account under "prospective students". It doesn't hurt to try! I have a feeling that Monday will be the day. Let's hope!
I am dreading it. I hate sitting by the computer checking my webadvisor every 5 minutes, however I don't have enough willpower not to:mad:. Last night i actually dreamt of seeing the word " admitted" on the webpage. I wish all of you patience and sanity for the upcoming week:):) let's try not to go crazy waiting....
