Last Thursday I was at the college for the purpose of collecting my Chemistry grade with some classmates. Apparently, there was a graduation ceremony for RN's going on that night as well, and my friends started talking to one student to ask her about the program. I didn't hear the entire conversation, but one of my cohorts told me the student had stated that ELEVEN people had failed out of NUR-181 alone during her course!
Now, there's always a chance there was some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication, but does this sound right? For what it's worth, I would think the application process and competitiveness of getting in to the program would assure a strong student population, so it makes me nervous to hear these things. I already received some insight from someone privately, but I was wondering what the public population made of this info.
Thanks!
absolutely competive. I scored in high 80s but I'm nervous as well. Allot of people did good and the amount of people taking the test in general is incredible. I was one of the people who took it last year and got a 79 so didn't get in. And the class average was 76. i looked at the brighter side in some way and kept telling myself I didn't get in for a reason
Guys, I think the admission deicisions are out...I just checked the web advisor classes for Fall 2011 - one person has already registered for all three 181, 182 and 183....My webadvisor still says ready to test net. I guess it is not a good thing;-( ah, the agony of waiting... I scored 94 but with 2500 people applying, I highly doubt my admission into the program

The issue is that number of applicants is WAY up. I scored in the 90's but am not totally confident that I got in. I met a few other candidates who scored in the 90's as well. It's so competitive!
