Last Thursday I was at the college for the purpose of collecting my Chemistry grade with some classmates. Apparently, there was a graduation ceremony for RN's going on that night as well, and my friends started talking to one student to ask her about the program. I didn't hear the entire conversation, but one of my cohorts told me the student had stated that ELEVEN people had failed out of NUR-181 alone during her course!
Now, there's always a chance there was some sort of misunderstanding or miscommunication, but does this sound right? For what it's worth, I would think the application process and competitiveness of getting in to the program would assure a strong student population, so it makes me nervous to hear these things. I already received some insight from someone privately, but I was wondering what the public population made of this info.
Thanks!
thanks for the welcome :)i took the hesi today i'm kicking myself for not studying the vocab more it brought down my score a lot...i ended up with a 90.7 CLINGING on to that .7 to make it round up haha..Now let the waiting begin!!! i know the average was so much lower last year around a 70...its killing me that its so high does anyone know when they will let everyone know by? good luck to everyone!!!!
Hey everyone I'm new to here and I just took the Hesi exam on Tuesday. I'm getting my BS in Public Health in May and I wanted to get into nursing. I'm nervous about getting in since the average is up from previous years.
My breakdown of scores was:
Math: 86
Reading Comprehension: 97.83
Grammar: 94
Vocabulary: 82
Chemistry: 88
Biology:100
Overall: 91.3
Vocab brought me down a lot because its not my strong suit and I'm still kicking myself about the math cause I didn't notice the calculator till half way in. I hope the accept at least 80 to 90 people instead of the 60 I read about before. Does anyone know how many people applied this year?
hello everyone! i just came back from the nursing dept and accidentally overheard "letters will be mailed out in two weeks" =) i had a few questions that i wanted to ask elsa myself but the girl on the front desk told me to come back around 4-5pm. however, the girl did tell me the number of applicants for the fall program. you won't believe this but it's over 2000. she didn't give me the exact number but she said around 2300-2500. :eek:oh my oh my...all i can do now is hope and pray. let's keep our heads up and remember there's alway sunshine after the rain... be positive!
between the two weeks period, you can also check on webadvisor, click prospective students, under admission information, click admission status. under status it should say admitted or denied. good luck! =)
I have an account with Bergen. How do you check if you got in or not on webadvisor? Where exactly do you go to?
heyy
login to webadvisor. on the main menu, theres an option for prospective students. when you go to that, theres an option for admission status. Right now since its early, it will probably say "ready to test" instead of admitted or denied.
