Bergen Community College Nursing Evening 2015

Published

Hey everyone, I know its early but I was just wondering who was going to apply for the 2015 Evening Nursing program. I have attempted to apply for the 2014 day program but was denied due to the fact that my "Chemistry" prerequisite class was unacceptable. Anyways, I was hoping we could all help each other out when the time comes.

:D

Hey brygee, I believe you need to get health insurance for the program.

Hey yoon. It is required, or at least Bergen's really bare boned one, and I will but it starts January 1st. Until then, I am uninsured.

You need personal health insurance and for nursing students.

Hi future nursing students - Congrats on getting into Bergen! I was admitted to the program but chose something else. I definitely recommend getting at least 2 uniforms. Again, congrats!!

Hi all! So I'm on the American heart website. How do I know when a CPR class is BLS? There are so many options :/

hey angels32, could you tell us what the nursing kit includes?

I booked the class directly from Holy Names website.. But it should say Aha (american heart association) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers...

Thanks so much. Unfortunately, I work until 2:30 mon-fri and cannot take off again. (I'm taking off for orientation) I'm going to have to find a night class. Any suggestions anyone?

Try looking at other hospitals like englewood or hackensack.. I know they offer the classes as well, just gotta check the times...

There is a training center offering a course in Wayne on Saturday December 20th. This isn't too late right? I'm nervous about getting the paperwork in.

I don't think so, the 20th is just next week.. Holy name was pretty quick on sending me the certification card (like 2-3 days) so that wasn't a problem. But I remember reading that they know it takes "a few weeks" to get your card so TEMPORARILY they will accept a letter from the instructor saying you passed until you show them your card.. I'm pretty sure that's correct. Everything's due Jan 5, btw

Hey colette, I looked up BLS classes for you. Hackensack hospital has evening sections. Below is the link. Juan...
