So, I just got past my application with Bergen and have submitted to my background check. I know there is nothing there that is going to come up so I wanted to ask some questions about the test. Is it the NET test? For which ever test it is what is the best way to prepare for it.
If I get into the program I was wondering if anyone knew if my credits from a pervious college would transfer over or would i have to take the classes over. I have my math, psychology, sociology, and some other classes from a 4 year college I had gone to and left for the Bergen Nursing program because my previous school didn't have. If anyone has any sort of tis or anything I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Hey guys! Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. I finally got my physical, malpractice, and CPR. Now just need books, uniforms, and the kit. Did you guys find the books cheap anywhere, because this is really adding up quick! An 80 page syllabus... ohhhh I am going to enjoy every ounce of summer before I even THINK about that. Lol
I bought ALL used book through half.com...ended up spending almost $400 which it was not bad since it was 8 books!
I took a quick look through the fundamentals of nursing book and it was so much info that I gave up reading and I think Im going to wait and see what I really need to read! No need to do more work than required lol!!
I bought most of my books through amazon as new. I ordered them from the recommended users though so most of them were like half priced. I think I spent about the same, $400. Except I didn't get the one book because the edition that they asked for isn't released until Sept. 4.
Ohh ok.... I was so surprised that my books are all in excellent condition considering they were used....
One thing that I invested on was on getting the smartpen!!!
I am so happy with the purchase and don't regret spending not even a penny on it, im sure it's going to help a lot!!! take a look at youtube on how it works, you will probably die for one too....lol
I know that it's mandatory that we go to the nursing one, but only expected to go to the new student one. Honestly, I think that I might not go to the new student one. Seriously, the nursing one is all day what could they possibly tell us that won't be covered there? lol
Lol thank you.. if you haven't already realized, I'm a pretty disorganized person. Well.. I guess there's a lot to know if it's all day. And we'll all get to meet eachother.
