Bergen Community College Day Program

Published

So, I just got past my application with Bergen and have submitted to my background check. I know there is nothing there that is going to come up so I wanted to ask some questions about the test. Is it the NET test? For which ever test it is what is the best way to prepare for it.

If I get into the program I was wondering if anyone knew if my credits from a pervious college would transfer over or would i have to take the classes over. I have my math, psychology, sociology, and some other classes from a 4 year college I had gone to and left for the Bergen Nursing program because my previous school didn't have. If anyone has any sort of tis or anything I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Thanks! That's what I was thinking too...

I bought 2, since clinicals are 2 days in a roll. that way I use one then the other then have one week to wash both, which if I know myself well will be the day before class lol (BIG TIME PROCRASTINATER!!!!)

Which stethoscope did u guys get?

Thats a smart idea too...I'm a procrastinator as well!

As far as the stethoscope and stuff, I'm actually going to wait until orientation. I want to see what they suggest for our specific program and stuff. I'm sure that I'll wind up getting a litman though :)

I bought the cheap one they sell where u get the uniform, but I regret it big time!! It's ok but not good!

Well I'm sure that its adequate for what we'll be doing! Otherwise they probably wouldn't even include it on our order form.

what room is the orientation.?...i lost my forms haha

Yeah, I lost (actually don't even remember getting) my info about the orientation. Any chance someone could scan and e-mail it? Or at least post the basics here?

Hey ummm the only thing that was told about orientation was that it is on August 11th, a tuesday, from 9 am to 2 pm in room L-131.

Hey guys..anybody still check this thing? Anyway.. I placed my order for my books, but the shipping status now says I won't receive my books until Sept 1 - 15. If it turns out I don't have my books in time, does anyone know if the library has copies? Or could anyone be enticed into group reading/homework sessions (I'd bring snacks and drinks!) Thanks.. I would really appreciate it. :)

Even though we have different sectios it would be awesome if we could have study groups, it is extremelly helpful!!! I have an amazing study group for microbiology now and I got A's because of it, we need all the help we could get :)

I'm the library has the books for reference, you have a limit of 2 hrs with it though

I'm sure that the library has copies, but if not I'll try to help ya out when I can.

Everyone going to the orientation tomorrow?
