Has anyone heard of this school? It looks like they're not accredited yet but not sure how long that takes or the likelihood. Anyone apply to this school or was a pilot cohort before like this? Is it pretty safe to apply to new programs like this? It looks like the cycle just ended for their first cohort.
I'm not going to the cocktail thing cause I'm flying cross-country and can't take too much time off work, LOL. Plus I don't drink so I would probably just be standing around with my Sprite trying not to be nervous.
In terms of what to expect from the interview, I do find comfort in the fact this is their first time interviewing anesthesia applicants so there's not decades of precedent like at other schools. I think it's more of a "could I imagine being stuck in a classroom with you and 17 other people for 3 years" kind of evaluation, haha

Fair enough. I agree — going to be weird with no previous cohort to "guide". I am thinking maybe around 30 interviews - assuming 2 days of thirty minute increments. That sounds like not that many though...so maybe more. IDK haha. Just gonna try my best although this is my top school.

Yeah, the cocktail part is interesting - will get to see most applicants and staff I would imagine.

Good luck! Are you Tuesday or Wednesday?

I am flying to Louisville on Tuesday and interview Wednesday morning...trying not to be SO nervous. I've been busy as hell the last two months so the interview dates have really snuck up on me. I'm glad it's almost over though! Crazy to think we could easily hear final decisions by the end of the month.
