I am nervous about trying to go to college. I have not been in school since "2002, and did not graduate with the best grades. For a long time I knew I wanted to be a nurse. I went on to do my CNA in "2007, and I currently work at a hospital in the Med/Surg-Pediatrics department. I've already completed my application and sent it off last week for spring 2013, I'm just so nervous about getting in. Is there any one else???

You can do whatever you set your mind to. I'm finishing up my prerequisites for a BSN program and I graduated high school in 02 and have a one year old who gets into everything. Good luck

I was out of school for 20 years and had never finished high school. What you don't realize at first is how much different going to school is as an adult.Your years of life experience will serve you well in high school. Good luck.

I graduated high school in 1988 by the skin of my teeth. Was told that if I missed one more day of school, no diploma. I am now in NS with a 4.0. Most of us are not at our best during our high school years. We need maturation. :)

Take some a part time course first so you can ease into it and develop the good study habits you are going to need to succeed later on.

I should have graduated high school in 2003. I ended up dropping out and getting my GED. Now, I have a 4 month old daughter and I still managed to get a 4.0 gpa last quarter taking physiology and sociology. You can do anything you put your mind to. Don't let anyone tell you anything different!

I have been out of school for 30 plus years. I am just beginning my second semester of cores and pre- requites. My first semester was a short semester. It was so hard, but I had a 4.0. If I can do that, you can too. good luck.
Omg look at all this motivation! I'm thinking positive from this day on. I have a 6 year old daughter who just believes in me like there's no tomorrow, so I have to think positive. Thanks guys for the support :)
