I know there are a bunch of threads floating around but I thought it would be nice to have one "YAY, I'm in!!" thread for Fall 2009.

I just received my acceptance to Charity School of Nursing in New Orleans for the Fall 2009 semester!

The waitlist is new every year. So if you don't get in, either at first, or via the waiting list, you have to reapply next year. I was really stressing over what I would do if I didn't get in.

My program is what they call a one plus one. After one year (fall, spring, and summer terms) you are an LPN (assuming you pass and pass the NCLEX-PN. You apply for the second year for an associate degree and RN.

that's awesome tom, i'll be an lpn after i'm done. i never went to college and i'm starting school now at 46 :-)

Hi this is my first time posting a comment. I have everything except the last college I attended transcript as soon as I get that I will be done with my package and I can turn it in to the nursing department. I am applying at wallace state in hanceville and lawson state but my heart is on wallace state thats where I really want to go. Everything will be done by tuesday I hope .Iam going to request and get a copy oF my transcript sent out monday. So I will find out in June or July if I got accepted into the Fall nursing program wish me luck I have a total of 161pts :idea: and I know I worked my butt off .

Congrads to all the lucky nurses who got accepted you all worked so hard for it. Those who did not don't worry keep trying you'll get in have faith :loveya:

I've been accepted into the LSU-HSC 2nd degree program for the Fall! It just doesn't feel real. I want to get started already before they call back and say they were "jus' funnin'".
