Hey everyone, now that offers have been given for January/April 2019 intakes, mind as well fire up a new discussion for the September 2019 intake.
Anyone else planning to take the LIBS courses prior to applying?

What does it mean by they will be automatically considered for the January 2020 class.
I didn't ask for clarification, but I assume it means that we will be considered alongside the January applicants. No need to reapply, but no guarantee of getting in either.
I'll be emailing them again in July after the tuition deadline has passed and before we need to apply for April (due July 31st I think) since we can only have one active application.

Do you think they meant April 2020? Because I applied for January 2020 and our quiz deadline was May 30th, so I wonder how that would work to be considered for January 2020 since they will be sending out acceptance letters soon
EDIT** additionally, wouldn’t you need to complete the Casper entrance exam that is part of the new requirement starting January 2020 and forward

Yeah, I wondered about the CASPer too, but I don't know. Maybe I'll email them on Monday ?

"If you are offered a seat for September we expect you to take the seat. If you are not offered a seat for September you will be accepted into the January 2020 class. You do not need to reapply or compete for a seat again it will be automatic."
I received the same email but now torn if I should grab the seat in Langara for the September intake or wait till January for a secured seat at BCIT. I don't know which school is better.

I've accepted my offer and submitted the supplemental docs! Looking forward to meeting you all on Sept 3!
I've noticed many discussions about LIBS courses on here, are these extra courses we have to take on top of the ones auto enrolled in? I cannot find anything on the website.
Yes, you can probably Google the old nursing program schedules but there are 2 LIBS courses that will need to be taken. My friend who is in the 2018 September intake told me they are taken during term 2 and 4.

This is also my question. Does that mean we get a spot for January? Anyway, thanks so much for sharing this! Hopefully we get to know soon! I, myself, is waiting on BCIT so I can make a final decision about Langara.
