BCIT Nursing Sept 2021 Intake

Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

I applied with 3.7 GPA for the the post secondary pre reqs. For high school classes, I had a 73% for gr 11 Chemistry which probably took a toll on my application. 

Experience wise, I did the BCIT medical office assistant program and have been working in a hospital doing that for about a year. I also have experience working as a first aid responder. 

I didn't apply with many credits, only the courses that were required for applying. I've notice most people here who have gotten accepted already have degrees...

Yeah, sucks to be rejected but at least I know the answer now and can stop checking

This is so weird that you didn’t get offer! Your application is very strong. TBH I’m not sure what they look for!!

This is really great experience and GPA

Maybe it was your casper? Definitely contact bcit and they'll let you know where you lost points!

I thought so too but I guess it's hard to really know what they want. There must have been a lot of really strong applications for this intake. 

I'm not sure how I did on my casper either so that might have had a play as well

Thank you! I actually got accepted to Douglas and Langara already. I was just hoping for BCIT because it was my top choice!
