Hello!
Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

I just got accepted!
I applied with a 3.06 GPA, degree basically done (finished May 2021), experience: co-op at BCCH, work as a BI in a preschool for kids with autism, volunteering in a SFU research lab, and volunteer at the hospital gift shop, and retail experience.
Good luck to everyone else!
Woo congrats and thanks for sharing all that before we asked haha! You read our minds.
Does the email ask you to check your "my communications" or do they just email you saying congratulations, you've been accepted?
Congrats again!

Congratulations!! I applied with a similar cGPA and was in my last semester when I applied too. Casper and little work experience are what worry me. Hopefully I hear good news soon too

Don't worry - that's only 4-5 acceptances so far (not counting the people who are not in this forum). Don't lose hope, we still have time.

I applied with a 3.8 CGPA with a bachelor of science degree from SFU. I also work as a rehab assistant throughout my undergrad, and started working as a project coordinator for quality improvement with PHSA after graduation.
I don’t think I did well on the Casper test, but still managed to get an acceptance. There is definitely hope if you think you did poorly on that component!

Trust me, I (and many others) feel the same! We’ll be okay. We still got a few more days. If we haven’t received acceptance, we haven’t been rejected or waitlisted either. There’s still a chance. For what it’s worth, we have to be patient as now we know that offers are still rolling.

Yes! Totally with you on this. We can't lose hope!
We still have 8 business days of waiting for a response, plenty of hope.

That's okay, you can apply for the January intake for a few other schools IF you don't get in!?
