BCIT APRIL 2020

As today is the first day to apply to BCIT for April 2020, I thought I'd start up a forum!

Is anyone else having trouble applying today?? I get an error message saying "No intakes are available at this time. Check your program's Entry page to find out when to apply." But today is June 1st?? :(

I would recommend mentioning that your finishing your degree on the application form as well! When I applied I was finishing a certificate and that seemed to help me! With a degree and that much experience you should be ok. It’s worth a shot honestly!

Thank you for the pointer ? I will definitely give it a shot! I've also emailed BCIT admissions to ask how they assess applicant GPA so hopefully they'll be able to give me some insight, too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Oh yes sorry, my question was phrased weird. The start day is the 28th but when does it end? August something I'm guessing... I just wanted to figure out if we get a couple weeks off between semesters..

Not sure. I’ve heard it varies from it’s 2-4 weeks but other than that’s im not sure sorry!

Does anyone know if taking either, or both LIBS courses would be looked at by admissions and be given additional credit/points for it during the application process?

It does!! My brother’s friend was told by admissions that she got in because she had taken the LIBS courses. I think it proves that you’re more serious about getting in ?

Does anyone know if we can take the LIBS classes while waitlisted for the program?
