BCIT APRIL 2020

As today is the first day to apply to BCIT for April 2020, I thought I'd start up a forum!

Is anyone else having trouble applying today?? I get an error message saying "No intakes are available at this time. Check your program's Entry page to find out when to apply." But today is June 1st?? :(

i think its so likely we will get in that if we do not we will get a spot in the September class for sure!

mine still says pending which is odd i thought it would said waitlisted lol. Im just waiting for it to change to accepted

Okay! Did you receive an email that you were waitlisted?

I haven’t yet. But I did write my CASPer later than everyone else, so I’m not sure if that’ll factor in differently

Yes I received an email on my BCIT email account!

I knowww its killing me lol but Im top 10 so im really hopeful just hate waiting

mine still says pending but i did receive a waitlisted email last week ?

!! I was put in the waitlist an hour ago- received an email and status change.

BCIT finally changed my status from pending to wait listed. I am confused, I am top ten on the wait list however in the email about the status change is says, " If you do not hear from us, your application will be closed and you will need to re-apply for the next intake or application cycle." That doesn't really add up to previous semesters as well as what the people who are below top ten have been told this semester.

Wierd. I just emailed and they just replied and I’m on the top ten and she said “You will likely be offered a seat for April, however should you not be offered a seat for April you will be offered a seat in the September 2020 class”.

thank god ❤️ I am assuming the status change email is just a generic email sent to everyone! I am so excited I cant contain myself! Some people will probably get in next week since they have to pay the fee to secure their spot 2 weeks after acceptance is offered
