CTTICU at BUMC! I don't want anyone to tell me what specific questions were asked because that wouldn't be fair to anyone, but just general tips on how to prepare for panel interviewing ?

Congrats to both of y'all! I was offered in Temple so I do not have any particulars on that hospital or unit(s) but I would just make sure they can see who you are and why you want to be there, what makes you their best candidate, and to take some breaths before you answer. You will be nervous and naturally talk faster or jumble a few words, so just breathe and pretend you are talking to your best friend! Wishing both of you all the best!

Just wanted to leave my own update (because I relied on reading these boards as I prepared for interviews). I was offered an interview with Baylor but declined as I’ve accepted a non-residency position in an LTACH specializing in critical care. I’m excited to start in an area that has excellent opportunities for skill building and will provide all the certifications I’m interested in obtaining. I was offered an ER nurse residency position (TX health) and interviews with HCA and declined in favor of the LTACH, which is paying me significantly more and there is no long term commitment required. I actually graduated with my BSN in March so I’ll be starting right away (another big pro for me). Anyway, best of luck to everyone! Happy nursing!

This is wonderful news for you and a huge congratulations!  I have also thought about non-residency positions.  Would you mind sharing how I would go about looking for a non-residency positon as a new grad?  Thank you so much and again, CONGRATULATIONS and the best of luck to you in your new career!

I have my Temple interview tomorrow for ICU. Do you know how they are conducting those since there are multiple ICU's? Is it a panel or what? I'm very very nervous

A week

A week, dear God I will be dead by then LOL...

Does anyone know how long ICUs at BUMC are taking to get back with offers?

Those who had interviews for ICU at BUMC did they ask any case study-based questions or just behavioral?

I interviewed with BUMC CTTICU and it was mainly behavioral. No case study or prioritization questions. Just expect there to be a lot of people. There were 5 people in there. Most interviews I’ve only had 3 for one unit.
