I had 1 offer from another hospital, which I have decided to decline since I was just offered a job at ANOTHER hospital in Labor & Delivery, which I will GLADLY accept! ?

That just happened to me, also. I gave up a job without even knowing if I have one at BSW or not. ☹️

What I was told yesterday, in general, not specific to ICU or BUMC, was that once they interview, they want to start extending offers ASAP as the GN program starts in June.

They told me within the “next couple of weeks”.

I learned yesterday that some regios are still trying to figure out how many GNs they’re hiring and for which departments.

I didn’t move towards the wrong direction at all. I don’t let politics drive where I live or how I live my life. I moved to Texas to better my life and that’s what I’ve done. Sorry if my place of birth offends you.

I moved from Los Angeles to Central Texas in 2016. The pay was not as big of a sacrifice as I thought it’d be because the cost of living is significantly cheaper; I’m no longer renting for $2000 a month and had a custom home built two years ago. It’s the best move I’ve ever made.

Ashley...I have not an shave been waiting on pins and needles so I contacted the recruiter last week and she said they were about 3 weeks about from doing any sort of decisions/contacting students. That would put it out to the week of March 22nd. If you hear differently, please update!

Last week I was told mid to end March. It’s driving me nuts because I have two other interviews a d would really like to stay in BSW.

Which region was this for, if you don't mind sharing that.
