Baylor Scott & White Residency February 2022

Hey, I wanted to start this thread for all of us applying for any Baylor Scott & White locations to keep each other updated with responses and interviews. I applied for BUMC specifically.

I’m not totally sure. But spots are quickly filling up.

They are still in the process of reaching out to applicants.

I heard slots for interviews are filling up quick. Should I be concerned about not getting a time to interview?

I wouldn’t be too concerned right now. It could just very well be that I am internal and they are just now getting to external applicants.

I got an email from the all saints recruiter on Thursday to fill out the phone screening form and respond with the form filled out and a time for next Wednesday to interview with my preferred unit. I sent it back within the hour. Then today got an email saying the interview schedule is now closed “All slots have been filled, and your specialty selection will be put into an overflow lottery.  Once another scheduled is comprised, I will reach out to you with more scheduling options.” 

I am just confused because it was like I got offered an interview and then had 8 time slots to choose from for a single day of interviews and then now I don’t get an interview? Are they just doing 1 interview day and that’s it? I would assume there would be a ton of interviews as they seem to have larger residency cohorts and only 8 interviews doesn’t seem right.

This happened to me too!!! im so confused.

I’m an internal applicant and have not heard back about interviews ? I also found out that my recruiter is no longer employed with BSW so love that for me

I’m an external applicant and was offered interviews at BUMC on Friday. I think she is still going through them in the order she received your app.

When did you have your phone screen with her ?

I didn’t have a phone screen. She sent me a form to fill out, then called me to set up times. I got sent the form last Wednesday, filled it out the same day and sent in

OK ! Yea I heard Scott and White really wants to set their applicants up in the specialty they want and I want Peds , so I’ll be in temple . And then they’ll see what happens . Plus I’m an internal applicant as well .
