Baylor Scott & White Residency February 2022

Hey, I wanted to start this thread for all of us applying for any Baylor Scott & White locations to keep each other updated with responses and interviews. I applied for BUMC specifically.

You don’t have to be on camera , but they talk the entire time .

I got an email from the all saints recruiter on Thursday to fill out the phone screening form and respond with the form filled out and a time for next Wednesday to interview with my preferred unit. I sent it back within the hour. Then today got an email saying the interview schedule is now closed “All slots have been filled, and your specialty selection will be put into an overflow lottery.  Once another scheduled is comprised, I will reach out to you with more scheduling options.” 

I am just confused because it was like I got offered an interview and then had 8 time slots to choose from for a single day of interviews and then now I don’t get an interview? Are they just doing 1 interview day and that’s it? I would assume there would be a ton of interviews as they seem to have larger residency cohorts and only 8 interviews doesn’t seem right.

I will be really sad if they offer an interview to people and then retract it. But I just have a hard time believing that the only interviews they will do are just on Wednesday because that’s not a lot of interviews at all.

Does anyone remember how many interns they are accepting for pediatrics ?? Med surge , PICU , ED , and flex team .

Gotcha. Is this your first interviews set up with Scott and White ? Or do you have interviews with other facilities ?

I’m internal. BUMC has interviews next week.
