  1. Thank you for being so open and honest! This was the most nerve wracking and horrible panel interview I've ever been apart of. I feel like the questions were horrible and the format is impersonal. Since we all were asked the same questions I had to change a couple of mine for fear of seeming like I copied the stories told by the other candidates, leading me to feel like I scored worse than I would have otherwise. Hope everyone doesn't beat themselves up over this interview. You are so qualified and will all be amazing nurses! I felt like I bombed this interview but then the next day I interview at a different hospital in person for an ED position and they were so much more supportive and encouraging. So just remember if you don't get picked there's other options out there and we'll all end up where we're supposed to! Good luck to everyone ❤️
  2. I interviewed for the Medical Division yesterday but just saw they emailed an updated zoom link for those interviewing today. Just a heads up!
  3. Anyone know the difference between Medicine division 1 & 2?
  4. Thank you! My last name is at the beginning of the alphabet and Medicine was my first choice. Good luck to everyone and don't panic yet, they still have a lot of time to reach out!
  5. Just heard back this morning for an interview for the AAU Medicine division. I have my ASN but I am already enrolled in an online BSN program. I went to school out of state but I am from here and already applied and received my CA license by endorsement. Hope that helps ease some worries!
  6. Congratulations! Did your status change in the application portal?
  7. They said they'll reach out 5/31-6/16 I believe.
  8. Just wanted to share that I interviewed with L&D on 3/23 and received an offer the next day. The recruiter wouldn't give me a straight answer on the contract amount at first then said if broken within the first year it would probably be $20k. I'm not sure how many spots they're offering but they said they are looking for people to be there long term (which is probably one of the reasons why the contract amount is so much ?). They also said the ratio is usually 1:2. They seemed really nice but that contract amount scares me.
  9. Would anyone who received an offer be willing to review my resume or share resources on what you used/what you included? I feel like my resume is what is hindering me
  10. Hi! I was wondering if you had previous pediatric or nicu experience before applying?
  11. Congratulations to you both! Did either of you have any previous experience in the NICU?
  12. Congratulations that’s amazing! Did you have any previous experience?
  13. Just wanted to let anyone who is applying this upcoming cycle that applications opened today!
  14. Did you have previous healthcare experience in L&D? Like working as a tech or your preceptorship.
  15. Not sure if they do this but you can ask to do a shadow day on the unit before you accept. Or at the very least a tour of the unit and it may allow you to get a feel of the unit and the people. Best of luck!
