Baylor Scott and White Grad Nurse Residency - Summer 2019

U.S.A. Texas

Updated:   Published

Hi everyone! Figured I'd start this thread. Just applied today. Good luck to everyone!

Anyone hear from L&D yet? Specifically for BUMC Dallas?

Lol at the Baylor New Grad process..Interviewed today for a New Grad position and was told that you'll get a call this Friday for a second interview and they will start calling canadities who were selected for the positions at the beginning of May. New grads start working around middle of June. That's how you run a new grad internship. Not waiting 4 months w/o hearing a peep but told if you hadn't received a rejection notification then you're still being considered. HA!

Adios Baylor and BTW because of the way you handle this process, I'm glad I didn't end up working for you. I will have started my new job before you finally get around to rejecting me or if you actually do reach out.

I hate to be the one but if you're in the same boat as me (digital interview only) and haven't heard anything yet, it's time to abandoned ship. Don't feel bad because there are plenty of hospitals out there that will treat you with more respect than Baylor has and they're hiring!

Good luck to each and everyone of you in your nursing career, you'll do great! I'm out!

Specializes in Nephrology, Cardiology, ER, ICU.

ADMIN NOTE - please do not post emails or names of hospital/school personnel due to privacy concerns. Thanks.

If you don't mind me asking where else did you apply for new grad internships?

Hey everyone, I know it's been awhile since anyone has commented on this thread, but I will be working in L&D at BUMC for the summer nurse internship! If anyone else will be in L&D at BUMC please message me! I'd love to meet you before we start ?

Hey I know it’s been almost a year since you posted this... LOL. But I am still waiting to hear back from L&D for this Summer’s residency program. I submitted my digital interview 2/20. I also put BUMC as one of my top choices. When did you complete your digital interview, and how long did it take for them to get back to you? Any input you have would really help! The waiting is killing me... thank you!! ☺️

Hello! How did the in-person interview go? Also, about how long did you hear back to let you know if you got the job? Thanks in advance.

Good morning, do you know where Dennis is recruiting from? I applied to several different hospitals and Im not sure which one is interested in me.
