Hi everyone! I know the application for the nurse residency program for BSWH opened up on 9/1/20 and figured that I would start a thread to update each other on it. Good luck

I did the video interview like a month ago and haven't heard anything else. I guess its safe to say I didn't get in, but my application status is still active?

I wouldn’t count yourself out just yet, applications are open til oct 7th. I think it depends on your preferences. I submitted my video interview sept 8th and haven’t heard back yet either but I reached out to the facebook page and was told they are still going through all the submissions and when I went to the expo, nicu said they aren’t doing their actual interviews til december.

What specialities did you put as your top preferences?

I put women’s services, pediatrics and ER for Temple, Mclanes and roundrock

Well I just accepted an MA position in a clinic and they will promote me when I get my RN license. I was going to try to do a nursing residency, but since they all seem to be either on hold (Austin hospitals) or a long process, I guess it's just clinic life for me ? My top choices were ICU, ER, OR and my preferred locations were Round Rock, Lakeway, Temple. So that's 1 less person fighting for those spots. Good luck y'all!

Hello everyone! Just completed my phone screening this afternoon and I was told that the interviews for BUMC OR are being held next week. There are 10 positions and they are virtual live interviews through hirevue. There is also one additional OR position at another dallas facility (I can't remember which one). The invitations are going out in the next couple of days.

I applied 9/1, did my video interview same day, and had the screening call with the recruiter on 9/10. I applied for Women's, Surgical, and Acute in the Austin area and I have heard nothing ? starting to get a little worried

I applied 9/22 and did my video interview on 9/24. I haven’t even gotten a screening call so I’m definitely getting worried ?
