Hi everyone! I know the application for the nurse residency program for BSWH opened up on 9/1/20 and figured that I would start a thread to update each other on it. Good luck

Can I ask why you declined the PCU/EP/tele? I live in Dallas! So living so close to home is awesome. I was planning on simply doing med surg for the first year of nursing. I accepted Tele. From what I know of tele, tele is pretty much cardiac med surg. I hope I'm right.

 

It seemed like a great opportunity to learn a ton, but I just wanted to be a part of a smaller team. Probably a silly reason not to choose a department, but after floating constantly as an MA for a few years, I want to wake up and know where I’m working and who I’m working with (generally speaking).

I’m just glad the job hunt is over. I only passed the NCLEX a month ago, but it feels like the interview process has lasted for months LOL.
