I received a job offer today, mine came to my email. I interviewed Saturday at the Interview Fair. It was for Pulmonary Internal Medicine. I am super excited. Guys you will hear something soon.

I was at job fair this past weekend and just heard back today. I got an offer for the Trauma ICU at BUMC!!

Anyone know for sure if the internships turn into full-time gig at the end?...

I heard back monday morning for an offer on the transplant unit! Yes thats my question exactly does it turn into a full position? Thats definitely something to take into consideration...

I got two offers and accepted PACU! And yes as far as I know, after the internship it should be a full time position!

I had my interview on Monday. it went well I think. I stumbled on a few questions, and really looked dumb on a very important one But I think I recovered well. Is anyone else here applying for an OR internship not at BUMC? I am super anxious!! I was told that training/class is 20 weeks, full time and that it does translate into a full time position afterwards. Maybe its position, or location specific? Because I know the Medsurge internship is only 8 weeks of training/class then full time precept.

I think we are all lost..who knows what to do? My recruiter just said we'll be in touch. I guess just have a copy of your SS card. I don't know about uniforms yet or anything like that.

Did you just email the recruiter back saying you accept the position? Thats what I did and no replay. I called as well and no answer. Kind of worried. I want to make sure they know I accept the position! Lol

Hmm I just emailed my recruiter back saying that I accepted his offer and he sent me follow up paperwork in an email with details! What unit will you be working on?!

I emailed my recruiter maybe an hour after I received the offer on Tuesday. So maybe ill just have to wait for a response. It was for neuro med-surg :)
