Baylor BSN 2014 Spring Applicants

I was just wondering if there is anyone else applying for the 2014 spring program. It's my first time applying to a nursing school so I'm excited! My HESI is overall average 86% (not that great) and overall gpa 3.7, also I'd be considered a transfer student. Hope to hear from ya'll!

I'm pretty sure that section number was only for summer but I know there is more than one 1317. I think as long as it is 1317 hist/lit of the bible you will be find. Just check with her to make sure because I don't want to make you guys take the wrong class!

You know I think you're right! I actually just found it and 1317-41400 (fall 2013) is the same professor that taught 1317-45400 (summer 1) and they're both titled 'hist/lit of the bible'

Okay HUGE relief! I thought it was a full class! I tried emailing her and she hasn't responded, I understand she's busy though. You were a big help Crystal, thank you!

I FINALLY get to register for all of my classes now :)

You're welcome! That is who I took and it was pretty simple. Does anyone have any idea when classes at Baylor will actually start? Let me know of you have any questions and I'll post my email!

I actually did look on the main baylor website and according to them it will be Jan 13th. Not sure if the nursing school would follow it?

Yeah, I saw it was the 13th but I wasn't sure if it was the same for the nursing program.

Hi All! I just came across this thread and wanted to say hi and congrats to all who got accepted. I received my acceptance email last friday as well :) I seriously can't believe it! I live in San Diego, CA and Baylor was just something my family threw out there and I thought there was no way I would get in! Baylor is the only school I've applied to and it seems to be the only school that allowed applicants to apply before all pre-reqs were completed. I sent in my acceptance letter Monday and am going for it. Tuition looks a little scary but like you all say, I'm pretty positive it's worth it! I'm praying for great scholarships and whatever else I can get.

I'm 27, will be 28 when nursing school starts. I am taking my last Political Science class thru DCCCD and then Micro here at my school in the fall. These next 5 months are going to be crazy and it's going to be such a big move for me. I am so looking forward to meeting and seeing you all soon! Is everyone able to go to the pre-nursing day in September?

Welcome to the group! I am taking A&P II during the summer and Micro in the fall. I am planning on sending my acceptance letter tomorrow. I am going to both the pre-nursing day in September and Orientation in January! I look forward to meeting you. Are you planning on staying in the apts near the campus?

Ashieko, congrats to you and welcome! That must be a huge transition for you from Cali to TX, but I do believe its very much worth it. I will definitely be at both pre-nursing and orientation :D so excited!

Crystal, good luck with a&p II during the summer! I took a&p II during summer 2 and it was intense! But I believe you will do good :)
