Welcome Hlauren77! I'm sure all of us are going, but I'll be in the first group since my last name starts with a C. But who knows maybe we can all meet anyway afterwards or something? I feel like these last couple months will fly by! Next thing you know, we'll be in class! Anywho, I'm looking forward to meeting everyone eventually :smug:

Hi Hlauren77, I am in the same boat as you. I live in Austin now and will be moving to Dallas, and I also don't know anyone there. I'll be in the second group on saturday, hopefully we can meet then.

bstillo, you are right, time is going by so quickly! I can't believe we'll be starting class in a little over 3 months! :nailbiting:

Yes, hopefully we can! I wonder how many people there will be. My husband and I are driving up the day before to explore the area. Have to figure out housing too, husband staying in Houston but I'll be going home weekends, if I can... :/

Yay! Got my Baylor acceptance too. But I won't be able to attend the pre-nursing day (i am in a different state right now) Anyway hoping to meet everybody during Orientation. Hate to miss out on all the information and tour around the nursing campus.

Hey guys! So I'm just going to ask this question and I don't know if I'm feeling this way because I have my first midterm the Monday I fly back from pre nursing day, but is anyone else feeling overwhelmed and anxious?! I feel like time is flying by and everything is just so crazy. Maybe I'm still in shock that I'll be moving and attending Baylor?? haha not trying to be debbie downer over here, I'm just stressed! :woot:

Don't be stressed Ashieko! I get anxious too, but try not to sink into "debbie downer" mode-- this is exciting more than anything else! Yes, things will be hectic but everything will settle. I'm sure a lot of people feel similarly! Hope you can find comfort in that. :) And I know everyone is saying that they're going to meet this Saturday, but if you'd like to meet or kinda-sorta feel like you know someone we can be anxious buddies together. :)

I will be in the second group on Saturday as well! Can't wait to meet everyone, but it sounds like there's going to be quite a few people there! As far as attire for Saturday, I feel like I should dress according to the dress code standards we were emailed. Business Professional since we are representing Baylor Nursing. Is everyone doing the same??

Also, have yall gotten your CPR Certification? I'm a bit confused on how to sign up for that.

CCSmith0101 You know.. I was going to dress casual but thats a good point. Now idk what to wear anymore :down: . Also, if you go to the Brookhaven or El Centro's website you'll see that they offer CPR classes you can take. I took mine at Brookhaven.
