Does BRCC still mail out acceptance letters in June??? I'm eager to know!! If so, I have a long wait!

They use a point system. GPA, HESI score, & the # of pre-req classes taken at BRCC. I took all my classes at BRCC. I had a 3.74 GPA & made an 86 on the HESI. Also, you must make above a 76 in all categories on the HESI.

So far, the 1st semester was a breeze. For me anyway. I hope this helps.

Did you guys have to wait to get the Hesi entrance exam score, or did they give them back immediately? And can someone give me and idea of how the test was and what was on it. It would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you will receive your score right after or via e-mail later that day. The test is very basic. Fractions, must know all conversions... 1gm=1000mg, etc. vocabulary, reading comprehension, grammar.. The book in the library was very helpful!! The format is the same.. You will only have 2 hours to finish so make sure you pay close attention to the time.

For those of you that were accepted into the program...how was the first semester? How many days per week are clinicals and class? Is clinicals the entire semester?

I'll be applying this year and my mom was curious as to the length and hours of clinicals, etc since I have two young children who will need someone to pick them up from school.
