Hi, Guys

I am conducting a study on bathing and showering systems installed at hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living centers in the US. It will be very helpful if you could share your insights on following question.

What is the average number of Bathing and Showering system installed per facility in the US in 2017?

Looking forward to your responses.

Regards,

Naser

Didn't you already post this?

That was different question and I thought I will receive more responses if I start new topic.

It probably would help if you could be more specific about what specific information you are actually looking for!

Hi, Annie

Thanks for your reply.

I am estimating the total number of bathing and showering systems installed in Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Centers and HomeCare Centers in the US, in 2017.

For that I an in need of certain information like average number of bathing and showering systems installed per facility in 2017, in the US. This will help me to estimate the total number of installation.

I'm afraid that really isn't information that nurses can provide as we are not privy to installation statistics. You might have better luck with institutional building forums or perhaps an institutional plumbing organization.

Please define 'bathing & showering SYSTEM'.

I'm thinking number of shower rooms per facility hall, how they're equipped, private room showers, etc. There's also the concept of voluntary bathing hygiene for A&O pts or routine directed hygiene for more confused pts.

How does this influence the nuts & bolts of nsg practice?.

PS - You wouldn't be a previous poster (who signed up again) and who was asking about posting signs on pt room doorframes? Sounded like some QA/QI project and not really significant for nsg.

As the others have said no one nurse would have any idea how many showers are in their entire hospital, that would be something you would ask maintenance.

There is a private bathroom with shower in every room in our hospital. All rooms are private. 240 rooms, so 240 bathrooms with showers.
